The Plots We Tested With
Site #1
This plot is 20m x 20m. It has a thick overhang of trees and different types of vegetation covering the ground. This area has a creek that runs through it which runs into a dam at one end of the site. This plot is not flat and has a lot of rotting material in it.
Site #2
This plot was 20m x 20m. We had a creek that ran through the site and branched off in three directions. The creek is visible on the left in the picture above. Our plot also had a monoculture of jewelweed. You can see jewelweed on the right of our picture and more growing along the back. Our site's soil was primarily silty loam, however, there was also a lot of sand in the soil.
