Materials

1) Six 32 ounce yogurt containers

2) 300 mL of Corn syrup (for each trial)

 3) 84 cm by 75 cm of Metal wire for covering to be cut later into six 14 cm by 12.5 cm squares  Mesh is 1.27 cm by 1.25 cm

4) Hot pan (or stove) 

5) 1000 mL flask for boiling corn syrup

6) Magnetic Stirrer (optional)

7) Magnifying glass or microscope   

8) Measuring cup (at least 50 mL)

9) Trowel or digging implement

10) large coffee filters

11) 10mm Funnels  

12) Rubbing Alchohal or Petroleum ether

13) Cotton Balls

14) Gloves: Optional
