Troubleshooting!

Problem: How can there be a control on the plants?

What we did: We decided to take the plant and soil samples at the same time so there would be a control on each plant sample we took.

Problem: How can there be a control on soil?

What we did: Our group decided to take exactly 15 cm samples of soil each time we took soil samples.

Problem: Labeling and tracking all of our bags

What we did: even though we had problems labeling our bags at points because there were so many, we learned to sit down and slowly go through all of our bags and put everything in order.

Problem: getting everything done on time

What we did: When time became an issue DL2 decided to split up the experiment so people were working on different things on the same time. Since we did this, the time it took to do our experiment was not as much as it was when we started out.

Problem: Getting things done on time and as neatly as we wanted

What we did: DL2 decided that working together helped speed up our process and even though we did get sidetracked we decided to split up the work which allowed us to get more done but still have the time to do it.
